Microsoft Corporation finally finished their brand new mobile phone OS, called Windows Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 was named Windows Phone 7 Series before, but later Microsoft decided to take off the “Series”.

It is uncertain when Windows Phone 7 powered deviced will be released. But now, Microsoft this week said that Windows Phone 7 has reached RTM (release to manufacturer) status and is now available to OEMs and service provider partners.

Sure Windows Phone 7 OS would be a serious rival of current major mobile OS, iPhone (iOS) and Android. I hope there are cheap Windows Phone 7 devices soon after release, so I can try it out.
